We cannot guarantee that you will see them all. Who knows though, you might find the 577th species

The wading birds were seen during a canoe trip on the Allahein river all of the others, except the Owl chicks, were taken within 50 metres of Footsteps.

Tanji River Bird Reserve a government-protected area of 612 hectares which includes forest, lagoons, mudflats and salt marshes.  Gray-backed Camaroptera, Zitting Cisticola, Croaking Cisticola, Siffling Cisticola, Singing Cisticola, Olivaceous Warbler.
On the ocean side there are Caspian Tern, Gull-billed Tern, Sandwich Tern, Lesser Black-backed Gull, Royal Tern, Kelp Gull, Sanderling, Dunlin, Black-winged Stilt, Common Sand Piper, Ruddy Turn Stone, Black Tailed Godwit, Bar-tailed Godwit, Whimbrel, Eurasian Curlew, Common Red Shank.

Fine-spotted Woodpecker, Brown-backed  Woodpecker, Greater Honeyguide, Bearded Barbet, Vieillot's Barbet. Yellow-fronted Tinkerbird, Dark Chanting Goshawk, Shikra, Lizard Buzzard, Lanner Falcon, Grey Kestrel.

Abuko Nature Reserve Western Bluebill, Levaillant's Cuckoo, Klaas's Cuckoo,  Ahanta Francolin, Double-spurred Francolin, Variable Sunbird,
Scarlet-chested Sunbird, Copper Sunbird, Western Violet-backed Sunbird, Black-crown Night Heron,  African Darter, Black Crake.
Lamin Lodge is great for seeing birds and also to have a trip in the river Gambia where alongside an interesting array of birds you can also see the local women fetching oysters and firewood. Great White Pelican, Pink Backed Pelican,  Sandwich Tern, Long Tailed Cormorant. African Darter can all be seen here.
